Acrylic Paintings

Since my blog is fairly new and I now have high speed internet (YEAH!!), I thought I would share some more of my artwork with you. Here are some of my acrylic paintings. These were ones I have completed in the past 2 years. Some were sold on ebay. Some were commissioned.

The painting above is 36"x48" and has lots of texture. It was completed for a friend who lives in Waveland Mississippi. This is actually the second of the same subject completed. The first painting was lost during Hurricane Katrina. The title of the painting is Saved By Grace II and it represents a time when their family was out to see many years ago during a storm and they were saved by angels. Several people lost their lives during that storm, but God saved my friends.

This painting is 24"x48" and was sold on ebay in 2007. It was done in acrylic and gel medium. The black you see on the painting is micaneous iron oxide.

This painting was commissioned by my mother for her music instructor. It was a surprise gift

and the instructor was thrilled. She has received many comments on the piece which is hanging in her music studio.

This painting was done for a special friend of mine who lives in Mississippi. It is done in layers with acrylic paint, polymer medium, iridescents, and gel mediums. It is 24"x48".

This painting was done for my mom. She l0ves to play the piano and violin and wanted reds and purples in the painting.
